‘Norway in a Nutshell’ is a popular tourist excursion in Bergen, but it’s also a great way to describe the city. Sitting between the two biggest fjords in Norway (Hardangerfjord and the Sognefjord), and nestled betwixt the mountains and the sea, Bergen is everything you expect from Scandanavia. On the downside it also has the reputation for being Europe’s rainiest city, but this doesn’t dampen the exuberant energy of Norway’s second city.
