We asked them what it was about the Danish lifestyle that attracted them.
Ever wondered why Sweden so consistently makes it into lists charting the top ten ‘happiest countries in the world’? At Schepens we’re currently hearing a good deal about ‘lagom’ (pronounced law-gohm), which is considered central to the happiness which fuels the Swedish lifestyle. Lagom describes a philosophical approach to life that is particular to Sweden, and to Scandinavia more widely. Translated ‘lagom’ means: Not too much, not too little.
